PLM Migration

The decision on the introduction of a new or a fundamental change of an existing PLM system results in a number of essential questions that mostly although technical in nature, but partly also methodological and organizational nature.

Makes it e.g. sense, instead of a "Big Bang" certain functional, self-contained components of the PLM system in advance to switch productive in the new system, while others, specific applications initially remain in the old system? And if so, how does one systems in the tangential edge regions for this transitional period in sync? How then takes an integrated supply with downstream systems?

Or: Is it possible to anticipate almost like a pilot project to execute the move into the new system project-specific or specific organizational units? How does it look with shared databases and their care?

DEDO Consulting supports in particular on issues regarding the methodology of conversion and the attendant demands on the time-varying data integration of these systems.
